Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Systemata Consulting, Inc ("Systemata", "we") collects and uses information when you use the dealer portal at systemata.dev. Systemata is a business-to-business service for professional integrators; we collect the minimum needed to run it.

1. What we collect

  • Account and profile data — name, company, email address, phone number, region, and certification level you provide at registration or edit later.
  • Purchase and license data — orders, license keys, project assignments, and spend history.
  • Payment data— handled by Stripe. Card numbers are entered in Stripe's secure fields and never touch our servers; we store only Stripe's customer reference and card metadata (brand, last four digits, expiry).
  • Support data — tickets and messages you submit.
  • Technical data — authentication session cookies and standard server logs (IP address, user agent) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. What we don't do

  • We do not sell or rent your information.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to operating the Service.

3. How we use information

  • To provide accounts, licensing, billing, and support.
  • To send transactional email (receipts, ticket updates, account notices). We do not send marketing email without consent.
  • To secure the Service and prevent abuse or fraud.
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations.

4. Service providers

We use a small set of processors to run the Service, each receiving only what their function requires:

  • Stripe — payment processing and card storage.
  • Supabase — application database and authentication.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Google Workspace — business email.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in (authentication session cookies) and to remember interface preferences such as theme. There are no third-party advertising cookies.

6. Retention

Account and license records are kept while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax, and licensing-integrity purposes (license keys must remain verifiable for the life of the deployed project). Support tickets are retained to maintain service history. You may request deletion — see below.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your contact details in the portal at any time. To request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account, email support@systemata.dev. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we may need to retain records of completed purchases for legal and tax reasons even after account deletion.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Database access is restricted by row-level security so dealers can only access their own records. Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we apply current industry practice.

9. Children

The Service is for business use and is not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
